দর্শনের সংজ্ঞায়নে পক্ষপাতিত্বের নমুনা

দর্শন আসলে কী? সত্যি কথা হলো, দর্শন হলো মানুষ দার্শনিক হিসাবে যা করে। ধুত্তরি, এটা কোনো সংজ্ঞা হলো? philosophy is what people do as philosophers – এটা কোনো কথা হলো? না, হয় নাই। তবে, দর্শনের কিছু নমুনা-সংজ্ঞা নিচে দেয়া হলো। মনে হবে, এই তো পেয়ে গেছি, দর্শনের সংজ্ঞা। দুঃখের বিষয় হচ্ছে, এসব সংজ্ঞার প্রতিটাই সার্কুলার টাইপের। কীভাবে? সেটি অন্য কোনো দিন আলোচনা করা যাবে। প্রায় দেড় যুগ আগে প্রথম বর্ষে পড়ানোর সময়ে স্টুডেন্টদের জন্য এগুলো সংগ্রহ করেছিলাম।
